We all just wished Mitt Romney would go away. This will shut him up for good.
Romney, who hasn’t been relevant in GOP politics for the better part of 4 years now, is trying to insert himself back into the media conversation for trolling Donald Trump. At least that’s what it looks like from this end. His “State of the GOP” speech was met with a collective raised eyebrow and rightfully so. You lost Mitt, get over it.
Want some proof that shows Trump is MUCH stronger than Romney was 4 years ago? Look no further than the latino polls that NBC just put out. It tells a VERY different story to the kind of support Romney received.
And guess who they favor? Trump.
Donald Trump is outperforming Mitt Romney’s 2012 performance with Hispanic voters, according to a poll released Tuesday.
Hillary Clinton leads Trump 48 percent to 45 percent nationally in the NBC poll. Among Hispanics she leads Trump 65 percent to 28 percent. Romney received 27 percent of the Hispanic vote in 2012. Last week, a poll showed Trump leading Clinton 55 percent to 45 percent among Hispanic registered voters.
After Romney’s loss to Obama, the RNC released in “autopsy” in which they identified a need for more Republican outreach to Hispanic voters. Many Republicans have worried that Trump’s rhetoric will damage this GOP effort to win over Hispanic-Americans.

Well clearly that’s not the case. Trump is beating Romney’s numbers in a demographic that largely decided the 2012 election! GO Trump GO!
