A lot was made out of the Megyn Kelly/Donald Trump Feud a few months ago. Kelly called out Trump, Trump fired right back calling her “Awful” and calling her journalistic integrity in to question.
Now it seems that is very far in the past. Kelly agreed to interview Trump recently and they just finished up with the filming of that special. What do we have coming out of it? Nothing but praise an admiration, both ways, from both parties?! Absolutely.
This is a bit of a shocking turn of events, but here are all the details!
The feud between Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly seems to have taken a rather unexpected turn as the two have no begun to rave about one another – and are even starting to sound like friends.
In an interview with People Kelly spoke about meeting Trump at his Fifth Avenue penthouse last month to try and convince him to do her upcoming special following some of the less than kind things he has said about her in the press.
‘He could not have been more gracious. He was very complimentary and kind,’ said Kelly.
Trump meanwhile said of the Fox News host; ‘I have great respect for the fact that Megyn was willing to call me. Few people would have been able to do that.’
He then went on to shower her with praise, saying; ‘She has natural showbiz ability with unlimited potential. I know people will enjoy [the interview].’
But wait, it gets even better.
Kelly also revealed what she thinks will be the highlight of the interview.
‘I think the most electric moment will be when I ask him about this past year and what’s happened between the two of us,’ said Kelly.
‘It’s one thing to have somebody else ask him about what he’s done and it’s quite another to have me ask him.
‘I think people want to see that.’
Megyn went on “Live! With Kelly and Michael” earlier this week and talked about the interview, while also showing a clip. Here’s the full interview.

We don’t know about you, but our minds have changed on Kelly. It’s no secret we’re Trump supporters here at YIR, but this is something that took guts and journalist fortitude to do. To own up to something and burry the hatchet is one of the hardest things to do in any profession, let alone this one.
We salute you Megyn and continue to salute you Mr. Trump. We’re very excited to see this interview and be sure to check back on YIR’s home page as we’ll share it as soon as it’s up for viewing!
