The electoral college was put in place for a reason.
It’s simply this: we have it because if we did not and we went on popular vote, New York, California, and a handful of other large population centers would decide every major election.
Those states are largely liberals and thus, we would never have a Republican leader. The electoral college is necessary so that states in middle America actually have a say in our government.
But after Donald Trump’s unprecedented election, the left has been hell bent on de-legitimizing a democratically elected president. This in and of itself, is CATASTROPHIC for American democracy. But they aren’t done yet. The recount didn’t work and now they are in desperation mode.
Here’s their evil plan.

A group of House Democrats is considering a challenge to Donald Trump’s election at Friday’s joint session to certify the Electoral College tally, Politico reported.
Members are allowed to protest when Congress officially counts the electoral votes, and Reps. Ed Perlmutter (D-Colo.), Bobby Scott (D-Va.) and Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) have signaled they may take advantage of that opportunity.
Ohio’s electoral votes were challenged in 2005, when certifying George W. Bush’s reelection. The protest delayed the confirmation of Bush’s win for hours but had no effect on the election results.
Progressive groups are reportedly behind the push for an Electoral College challenge. One group involved in this week’s attempt, Unite for America, was behind a December push to persuade electors to change their selection when they cast votes on Dec. 19.
The good news is, they need at least one Senator behind this evil plot and no Senators have come forward yet to help this challenge.
Essentially what this means is that the Democrats are like a scorned ex. They are desperate to get back together as their love, Obama, leaves office. Give it up. You lost. Move on, be adults, and stop the whiny, crybaby, snowflake, BULLSHIT.
Deal with it. YOU are the reason America is losing.
