This is disgusting. Why do liberals think that threatening the president’s life is cute? There was a smattering of pretended outrage after “comedian” Kathy Griffin posed with a replica of a severed Trump head but that quickly died. Insulting Trump has become the left’s favorite hobby.
Anthony Bourdain, a celebrity chef who’s best known for his repeated spats with Paula Deen, decided to give his opinion on politics a few days ago…
“If Trump and Kim Jong-un were going to have a bit of a summit to try and mend relations and they wanted you to cater, what would you serve?” a TMZ reporter asked.
“Hemlock,” Bourdain quickly responded.
Har, har, wouldn’t it be funny to poison the president. If a popular conservative had threatened to kill Obama or Clinton the left would have exploded in indignation. The recriminations would have never stopped.
Yet when Bourdain casually tosses out a threat, nobody cares.
“Absolutely f****** not…I’ve been a New Yorker most of my life… I would give the same answer that I would have given 10 years ago, when he was just as loathsome,” Bourdain said last year when asked if he would eat a meal with Trump.
Trying for shock value is one of the cheapest forms of humor.
