If you’ve ever wondered if CNN takes their moniker of “fake news” seriously, look no further. They’re willing to silence anyone that even hints at it, no matter what party they’re on, and no matter if they’re joking or not.
Bernie Sanders, democratic socialist and wrinkly hot dog, went on CNN to speak about whatever policy Trump had that rubbed him the wrong way. Sanders dryly joked that CNN is “fake news,” and immediately his microphone feed was cut off.

Almost immediately, liberal news agencies and fact checking click mills denounced the mic cut as “false,” but they didn’t take into account the numerous times that this has happened over the last year alone. The microphone cuts always seem to be when a person is speaking out against the Democratic party or Hillary Clinton.
