The late actor Will Rogers said: “Everything is changing, people are taking their comedians seriously and their politicians as a joke.” Of course, he also said “I am not a member of any organized political party. I am a Democrat.”
That first quote seems to be the mantra of the week with the mainstream media. They are giving great credence and air time to the comedian host of the Oscars, but they have the audacity to cut off the President of the United States in the middle of a press conference.

Over the past few decades, people have looked the other way and ignored it as just “something people do” when the news media served up whatever twisted version of the truth best suited their political agenda. Particularly over the last few years, the media has taken it upon themselves to shape the minds of Americans instead of accurately reporting the news.
Unfortunately for them, the jig is up, and the new President, who is no one’s idea of a polished politician, has decided to point out all the lies and half-truths. He has become the ultimate whistleblower because he has the ear of the entire world, and the media is taking it hard.
Will Rogers also famously said: “Everything is funny when it’s happening to someone else.”
All I can say to the mainstream media is, suck it up buttercup because there’s a lot more where this came from.
