Chief Prosecutor Announces Investigation Into CIA Hacking At Secret Overseas Location

March 26, 2026 by Savannah Pointer

Wikileaks has once again (quite literally) dropped some knowledge on us. Code-named “Vault 7” by WikiLeaks, it is the single largest publication ever of confidential documents on the CIA.

These documents expose that the CIA has been using the U.S. consulate in Frankfort, Germany as a remote hacking base for clandestine activities. Our own dear Central Intelligence Agency has been using the German city of Frankfurt am Main as the starting point for numerous hacking attacks on Europe, China and the Middle East.

Germany’s chief prosecutor promised that he would be investigating the claims made in Wikileaks documents.

Sad, isn’t it, that the most credible source of information most American’s will see in this decade is a dump of confidential information made by someone outside of the federal government? Not that I’m condoning people for compromising not only their own jobs by national security by letting out information willy-nilly, but where is the accountability?

Apparently, the answer to that, and all of our questions are sitting on a server somewhere in Germany. While I don’t appreciate being spied on, it’s an absolute imperative that all that information not be taken over by someone else.

President Trump has once again got his work cut out for him, cleaning up the mess that Obama left him. Not only will he now have to deal with the internal issue of the illegal activities, but now it’s going to be a diplomatic nightmare to try and explain why the U.S. is using a consulate to spy on countries in the region.
