Have we transported back in time? It feels like 2016. James Comey is back in the news and people are still whining about Hillary Clinton’s defeat.
Comey and his wife Patrice are making the media rounds ahead of the release of his new book. In a recent interview, Patrice admitted that she was a hardcore Clinton supporter who was “devastated” by her loss.
“I wanted a woman president really badly, and I supported Hillary Clinton,” she told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. “A lot of my friends worked for her. And I was devastated when she lost.”
Like Clinton, James is refusing to retire gracefully. The interview he had his wife had with ABC was full of incendiary comments.
“I didn’t take a poll among all the kids, but I’m pretty sure that at least my four daughters, probably all five of my kids, wanted Hillary Clinton to be the first woman president,” he said.
“I know my amazing spouse did. My wife and girls marched in the women’s march the day after President Trump’s inauguration.”
The Comey clan is part of the resistance. Who’s surprised?
“There was a lot of passion in this house for Hillary Clinton,” Comey said.
“And I– I get that. But again, I hope it illustrates to people that I really wasn’t making decisions based on political fortunes.”
James seems to be committed to smearing President Trump. The greatest revelations of his media blitz have been the angry comments he’s made about Trump.
The Comey’s insist that politics aren’t in their future. James wants to mold students into following his example.
“Never. I will never run for office. Not even a close call,” he said. “I’m going to teach about leadership and ethics, and so I’m going to be a professor, which is exciting…”
Get ready for Professor Comey…
