Over half of our country wants to block Syrian refugees from getting into the country, and Obama still wants to let them all come in. Still sitting here and shaking my head at this one.
Now we have reports of 27 state governors refusing to let Syrian refugees into their states. And of course the Republican’s are the voice of reason here as 26 out of the 27 states have Republican governors. The governors are not having an invalid reaction to the Paris bombings as we now know that one of the bombers was a Syrian refugee who immigrated to France by way of Brussels.
States protesting the admission of refugees range from Alabama and Georgia, to Texas and Arizona, to Michigan and Illinois, to Maine and New Hampshire.
Some leaders say they either oppose taking in any Syrian refugees being relocated as part of a national program or asked that they be particularly scrutinized as potential security threats.
Only 1,500 Syrian refugees have been accepted into the United States since 2011, but the Obama administration announced in September that 10,000 Syrians will be allowed entry next year.
Obama needs to realize this is a greater threat to our lives than he can possibly imagine. And if anyone of these refugees that has gotten or will come into our country is readicalized and carries out a terrorist attack, those American lives will be on his shoulders and he should be tried for war crimes. Who’s with me!?
