Despite being the victim of near-constant smear attacks by the mainstream media, President Trump is ending the year with almost half of the public behind him. A recent poll revealed that Trump’s approval ratings mirror Obama’s for the same time period. Both men ended their first year in office on exactly the same note.

Trump should be pleased; he managed to muster up significant support while being unfairly prosecuted in a witch hunt. Obama, on the other hand, was treated like a god by the media.
“About six-in-ten stories on Trump’s early days in office had a negative assessment, about three times more than in early coverage for Obama and roughly twice that of Bush and Clinton. Coverage of Trump’s early time in office moved further away from a focus on the policy agenda and more toward character and leadership,” reads a damning report by the Pew Research Center.
Americans are slowly getting used to Trump. The economy is thriving and the plague of horrors predicted by the Democrats hasn’t arrived. Trump’s second year in the White House could be spectacular.
“The Stock Market is setting record after record and unemployment is at a 17 year low. So many things accomplished by the Trump Administration, perhaps more than any other President in first year. Sadly, will never be reported correctly by the Fake News Media!,” Trump tweeted a few days before Christmas.
Trump’s poll numbers are being anxiously tracked by the left. Their elites are still openly calling for impeachment, they can’t stand the fact that Trump’s popularity is increasing.
