In the aftermath of the Vegas slaughter, the radical Left is doing what it does best: Taking advantage of tragedy. Like they always do in times like these, liberals are trying to take away more of our rights, because us little people just can’t be trusted.
However, in a shocking turn of events, one of the most despicable gun-grabbers in Congress, who’s leading the latest gun control gambit, has openly admitted that no law would have prevented what took place in Vegas.
As reported at the New York Post, moonbat Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who’s never seen a gun she didn’t want to grab, admitted Sunday that Stephen Paddock would have carried out his murderous plans no matter what law Congress passed.
“No, he passed background checks registering for handguns and other weapons on multiple occasions,” Feinstein told CBS’s Face the Nation. One must assume that the haggard old leftist must have gone senile, as it’s mind-blowing to see such a admission come from someone with such disdain for the Second Amendment.
Despite speaking a rare truism, that hasn’t stopped Feinstein from pushing her bill to ban “bump stocks,” the latest gun component that has leftists’ knickers in a twist.
Unfortunately, the all-powerful NRA has expressed openness to some form of new regulations on bump stocks, something that should have every NRA member blowing up the organization’s phone lines. However, NRA head Wayne LaPierre did stop short of supporting Feinstein’s bill, which would ban them outright. But Feinstein won’t settle for anything less.
“Regulations aren’t going to do it,” Feinstein said on the need for a law over an ATF rule. “We need a law. It can’t be changed by another president.” She’s right, we do need a law. A law that would keep unscrupulous busybodies like herself a million miles from every government building. A law that would forever render politicians powerless to trample on our sacred Bill of Rights.
Feinstein lamented the fact that it’s not easy enough to limit gun rights saying, “America is a gun-happy country. And I think there are many of us in growing numbers that don’t want a gun-happy country.” Tell that to the record-shattering gun sales year after year, you clown. And how about those of us who don’t want a sanctuary state that ignores federal law and imports hundreds of thousands of job-destroying illegals.
The GOP had better not fall prey to the gas-lighting of the Left. The media’s spewing its propaganda, manipulating facts and emotions to garner support. Accusing the GOP of enabling mass shootings and being “unreasonable” when it comes to guns.
But conservatives know this is all part of the Left’s strategy to back Republicans into a PR corner and extract concessions. But concessions on any issue can no longer be afforded. The GOP had better hold the line, or traitors can expect primary challengers starting next year.
