Right After ESPN Suspends Anti-Trump Reporter, ‘The Donald’ Sets The Record Straight

ESPN finally suspended host Jemele Hill. She’s been running her mouth for weeks, spouting anti-Trump nonsense that alienated viewers. The network was at first too scared to punish her, as they worried it might piss off liberal athletes.

Her latest comments, however, crossed the line.

“If they don’t kneel, some will see them as sellouts,” Hill wrote on Twitter. “If you strongly reject what Jerry Jones said, the key is his advertisers. Don’t place the burden squarely on the players.”

She’s referencing Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ announcement that any player who refused to stand for the national anthem would no longer have a place on his team. The outrage was so swift ESPN was forced to reprimand her.

“A big salute to Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, who will BENCH players who disrespect our Flag.”Stand for Anthem or sit for game!” President Trump wrote on Twitter.

Trump also noted that Hill’s bad reporting probably had a lot to do with the NFL’s sinking ratings. Don’t expect Trump to keep his feelings to himself. He’s willing to call out bad behavior whenever and wherever he sees it.

Hill hasn’t said anything in her defense. Maybe she’s won’t. Liberals probably consider her to be a martyr now.
