MSNBC Host Takes A Cheap Shot At Trey Gowdy And Shoots Himself In The Foot

The mainstream media has been known to jump through all kinds of hoops in order to distract you from the real live important issues that you’re supposed to be paying attention to. I guess America is starting to see through the normal aversion tactics, or maybe we’re just all getting more shallow as a country, but either way, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough of Morning Joe decided to take a personal shot at Congressman Trey Gowdy.

Via Daily Caller:

“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough bashed Rep. Trey Gowdy’s (R-SC) looks Wednesday, telling the congressman that he needs to powder his face before he goes on television.

Cohost Mika Brzezinski asked Scarborough “what dots can we connect?” based on testimony from DNI Dan Coats and Ex-CIA Chief John Brennan yesterday.

Scarborough decided the question was a good opportunity to offer a “pro tip” to Gowdy.

“First of all,” Scarborough said, laughing. “Trey Gowdy, a couple of pro tips: First of all, can somebody get him so powder?”

If this is as ridiculous sounding to you as it was to me, please watch for yourself.

I don’t think you do speak for America, Mr. Scarborough. I personally have never once noticed a shine on Congressman Gowdy, and it’s my job to watch a whole lot of news. And also, when I want makeup tips, I go to youtube, not to the mainstream media and certainly not to an overly vain, self-indulgent news anchor like yourself.

So keep on trying to distract us from the real issues if you’d like, but your “pro tips” are as transparent as your setting powder (guys: don’t google it, just trust me that setting powder is supposed to be transparent).
