It’s been the constant mission of the left to destroy President Trump ever since he took office. They’ve been using any and all means at their disposal to try and pin something on him that could impede his administration. They may end up with more collateral damage than what they bargained for though.
The alt-left is typically very careful to keep the skeleton from falling out of their closet, however, when they reached in to pull out on of Comey’s, it seems that one of former Attorney General, Loretta Lynch’s, may have fallen out in the process. And if Lynch goes down, chances are she’s going to take the precious Obama with her (and maybe Clinton too, if we’re lucky).
Since they insisted that the election be investigated, it is going to be investigated, ever single suspicious act that went on. Republican and Democratic alike.
Via New York Post:
By using fired FBI Director James Comey to attack the new Republican administration, Democrats have opened up a legal can of worms for the Obama administration.
Under sworn questioning, Comey has veered off the topic of President Trump and Russia and revealed several damning incidents in which his predecessor’s administration politically interfered in the Hillary Clinton email investigation. And now the Senate will investigate Team Obama for obstruction of justice.
Specifically, the Senate Judiciary Committee announced last week it will hold hearings to “examine then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s involvement in the Clinton email server investigation.”
Ouch. That’s gotta hurt to know they brought that on themselves. People seem to have gotten the impression that since Hillary didn’t win the election (pause for prayers of thanks . . . ok) that she’s just off the hook, but there are prisons overflowing with people who never ran for President. Illegal is illegal no matter your rank (or former rank) in this country. In fact, you are (or should be) held to a much higher standard if hundreds of millions of people are depending on you to do the right thing.
According to James Comey though, Lynch was not only complicit but actively participating in what he believed to be at least unethical, if not illegal activity.
Comey’s testimony before the Senate stated Lynch (NYP):
Ordered him to mislead the public about the criminal investigation of Clinton by calling it a “matter” rather than an investigation. (He complied with her wish, even though it made him feel “queasy.”)
Refused to recuse herself from the case after Comey confronted her about a secret June 2016 meeting she had with former President Bill Clinton — five days before his wife was scheduled to be interviewed by the FBI. (Hillary was cleared three days later.)
There are also concerns, raised by a New York Times report, that Lynch privately assured the Clinton campaign she would keep FBI agents in check and wouldn’t let their investigation “go too far,” according to a message the FBI intercepted involving then-Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Worried his boss had a “conflict of interest” overseeing the Clinton investigation, Comey testified he “considered whether I should call for the appointment of a special counsel” to take over the case. That would’ve been the right move. Curiously, Comey instead shut down the probe and let Clinton off the hook — three weeks before her presidential nomination.
That last part is why Comey has found himself under suspicion. It could not have been easy. Comey talked about the pressure he received from Lynch to cover what was going on with Hillary.
Whether Comey is guilty or not is probably going to be irrelevant at this point. Lynch has made a very uncomfortable bed and she’s about to have to lie in it. Ironically, every bit of new information that surfaces during this Trump campaign witch hunt points more and more toward the Democrats as being the perpetrators of any and all wrongdoing.
I think by the time this is over, conservatives can’t really lose. Either the corrupt and resentful Dems will figure out they’re only digging themselves a deeper and deeper hole and they’ll quit, or we will finally have enough to put some people away for a very long time. Here’s hoping it’s the latter.
