Is everyone in Hollywood a creep?
Sexual harassment and assault claims against A-list celebrities are pouring in like rain. A lot of foul stories were bottled up by victims over the years, and they’re finally coming out. 80-year-old Dustin Hoffman is the latest star to be outed as a pervert.
Anna Graham Hunter claims that Hoffman touched her inappropriately and made crude comments while she was a 17-year-old intern working on the Death of a Salesman set. Hunter says that the actor’s comments, which were made publicly, were so crude they made her cry.
Hoffman didn’t quite admit that he was guilty, but he did issue an apology.
“I have the utmost respect for women and feel terrible that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation,” he said. “I am sorry. It is not reflective of who I am.”
Top Hollywood sicko Harvey Weinstein opened the floodgates. After his accusers plucked up the courage to go public, dozens of others came out of the woodwork. Men who thought they had escaped persecution from their crimes are now afraid of going to jail.
The allegations being made against Hollywood’s elites are so disturbing that it’s shocking that they weren’t leaked earlier. Apparently, everyone knew that Weinstein was a monster. So why did so many people keep quiet?
Hollywood’s culture is changing. The people in power aren’t just men anymore; the boys club is dying. Powerful men will no longer be allowed to treat pretty women as sex objects.
