With much of the news media up in arms about President Trump calling them out on fake reporting, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly decided to weigh in on what is being called the “war between Trump and the media.”
O’Reilly isn’t taking offense at all; he makes it clear that Fox in general and, himself in particular, aren’t guilty of the dirty tricks many news outlets are using to get fiction passed off as fact.

O’Reilly has an excellent point really, as long as there is transparency between why the President is doing what he does and why the press has a problem with it, the American people can sort out fact from the fiction.
As it stands now, the citizens of this country are basically like the kids in the middle of a nasty divorce. Dad says that mom is lying, and mom is running away and crying in order to get sympathy points.
My personal opinion is that we will be treated like kids as long as we act like kids. When we grow up and think for ourselves, people can cry and point fingers all they want but we will be equipped with the ability to wade through the emotion and find the truth.
