Hillary Clinton has lied her way to the top of the polls for the Democratic side of the race. That shouldn’t be news to anyone because she is as establishment as they come. What should come as a surprise is how fractured the Democratic party has become due to the involvement of Bernie Sanders.
Now, the self-avowed socialist may be out of the race, and his solutions to issues would’ve been absolutely disastrous for the economy and the country as a whole, but his attention to the problems to the country and the issues it faces were spot on. They’re largely the same issues that Donald Trump talks about, albeit with a different perspective on how to solve them.
Now that their guy’s gone from the running, Bernie Sanders voters – people that have fractured themselves off from Hillary, some joining a #NeverHillary campaign, have tough decisions to make: Either they stay home on election day, or vote Trump out of spite for Clinton.
Trump knows this, and has expressed that he will work very hard to earn Sanders voters’ support, saying that his campaign will welcome them with open arms:
For those of you that can’t watch the video, here are Trump’s epic words, according to The Hill:
“To all those Bernie Sanders voters who have been left out in the cold by a rigged system of superdelegates, we welcome you with open arms,”“We can’t fix a rigged system by relying on, and I mean this so strongly, on the very people who rigged it,” he added, bashing Clinton and her “corrupt dealings.”“The Clintons have turned the politics of personal enrichment into an art form for themselves,” he said.
Thankfully, an incredible number of Bernie voters have already made up their minds and have said where they want to go, via social media.
Here’s just a few of them, via Fox News’ Facebook page:
With Bernie Voters jumping ship and vowing to never vote for Hillary and Democratic voter turnout getting lower by the day, this race is Trump’s to lose. I cannot wait for November, because Christmas is coming EARLY!
